All Aboard The Halloween Special
Take A Ghostly Train Ride aboard the Only Greater Toronto Tourist Railway The Uxbridge Heritage Train.
The Uxbridge Heritage train has returned to the station from last weekends ghostly ride through the Uxbridge Moraine. This weekend coming it will once again take all the little Ghosts and Ghouls for a ride on board the decorated trains. Passengers are invited to join the crew and children 12 and under get free ride if dressed up in their Halloween finest. (only 2 per adult)

The Halloween Themed Trains Saturday October 30th for a 90 minute ride to and
for the full round trip to Stouffville Trains depart Stouffvile Go Station Sunday October 31st at Noon Please arrive 30 minutes prior to scheduled Snack Service on the train and the tea room in Uxbridge Station will be open ..... all children will receive a lot bag |

The York Durham Heritage Railway offers seasonal scheduled train rides as well as special events rides. such as the Halloween ride and the upcoming ride with "Santa". The equipment is available for movie shoots and has been used in movie productions, music and video shoots as well as for magazine spreads.
Some of the York Durham Heritage Railway Rolling Stock includes a heritage coach from the 1950's, a vintage Pullman Coach built in 1919, and a baggage car built in 1957. The three locomotives were all built in the early 50's to by Montreal Locomotive works and one by American Locomotive.

Hi Kathy - Have you seen the current episode of the "My Toronto" of TV commercials on CFTO where various members of the CFTO news team talk about their favourite parts of (usually) Toronto? The current episode is showing the York Durham Railway.

Marc - I have seen some but not this particular one yet ..... It is likely to feature Lance Brown, their sports announcer ..... a great promoter of Uxbridge

Hi Pam - it's a great ride we took our grandkids on it during Unionvilles heritage days a few years ago.
How fun. ... I would love to take a ghostly train ride... How fun!
